Customer Reviews

Amazing toy but too advance for a 3 year old.
I got this product for my son for his 5th B'day and he loved it. The tough part came when I started transforming it to a Car. Man, that took me about 1.5 hours, even with the instructions. But once you've done it once its quite easy the next time. But I must insist, its a clever design and I and my son love it. Some people who saw it, loved it. I love the sounds it has. Its got some intelligent thingy which detects if the car is moving fast or slow and increase or decreases the speed of the engine sound with the speed. I thought that was really cool. Its also got some nice lighting functionality which I thought were amazing, espcially in the dark. All these sounds and lights in the car mode. Not much lights in the Robot mode but, its got some cool statments which the kids tend to memorize. Ohh one thing, it does not balance well in the Robot mode when standing but its not much of a thing as you can get it stand somehow. All in all I think its one of the best toys but more as a collectable. Kids will love it if they love Transformers. I guess the educationational value would be when a kid actually uses his brain to transform the thing from car to bot and vice versa. Thanks to Hasbros for the creativity.

Bumblebee Delivers!!

My boyfriend and I grew up children of the 80s. He loved transformers as a child, and when the movie came out last summer, he couldn't get enough of the film. For Valentine's Day this year I decided to surprise him with the electronic Bumblebee. As it turned out, from of all the gifts I have ever given him, this was THE biggest hit. He immediately took it out of the box and began playing with all of its features. His eyes lit up, he talks, there are radio tunes that it plays (Bumblebee, not my boyfriend). It's really just a neat gadget that I know he will treasure for years to come. Definitely a winning purchase!!! *Please note that it takes four AA batteries.

Too much from this seller!!!
This is a great toy. WE bought it for Christmas at Walmart. It iss cool. In robot form, it talks , in car form it sings songs etc....My 5 year old loves it, except way too hard for him to switch back and forth, like most of them. but, more durable!!! Great toy

Very nice !!!
Strengths: Really cool with the lights, high durability
Weaknesses: A little bit too challenging for my 5 year old
Summary: We always love transformers. The deal got from Amazon is good, considering the size, detail, and light effects. It is a blast for my son. It is cool for us to work together to transform it while it is a little bit challenging for himself. We did use Hasbro online video for the assembly. That is pretty cool too. Overall, a very nice toy at all.

Best figure from movie so far...
Strengths : Flashing lights Motion sensors Sound and voice
Weaknesses : Feels a little filmsy, not for young kids Needs more sayings
Summary : I have been a fan of transformer since my younger days. When this figure came out, I went right to the store and got him. I also have the Ultimate Optimus Prime. I thought that was probably the best from the new movie, but I was wrong. What Optimus lacked, Bumblebee delivered. Even though the character in the movie did not speak much, it was nice to have some sayings from him in the figure. I wanted something like that with the Prime figure. I really liked the new design, since it went into greater detail for the figure and vehicle. The only transformer that I own that is better is the metal version of Ultra Magnus that I pricked up in Japan over three years ago.

History of LEGO

LEGO :

The Lego Group had a very humble beginning in the workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen, a carpenter from Billund, Denmark. Christiansen began creating wooden toys in 1932; the company began calling itself "Lego" two years later in 1934. The company expanded to producing plastic toys in 1940. In 1949, Lego began producing the now-famous interlocking bricks, calling them "Automatic Binding Bricks". These bricks were based largely on the design of Kiddicraft Self-Locking Bricks, which were released in the UK in 1947. The first Lego bricks, manufactured from cellulose acetate, were developed in the spirit of traditional wooden blocks that could be stacked upon one another; however, these plastic bricks could be "locked" together. They had several round "studs" on top, and a hollow rectangular bottom. The blocks snapped together, but not so tightly that they could not be pulled apart.
The company name Lego was coined by Christiansen from the Danish phrase leg godt, which means "play well". The name could also be interpreted as "I put together" or "I assemble" in Latin, though this would be a somewhat forced application of the general sense "I collect; I gather; I learn"; the word is most used in the derived sense, "I read". The cognate Greek verb "λέγω" or "lego" also means "gather, pick up", but this can include constructing a stone wall.[1]
The Lego Group's motto is "Only the best is good enough", translated from the Danish phrase, Det bedste er ikke for godt. This motto was created by Ole Kirk to encourage his employees never to skimp on quality, a value he believed in strongly. The motto is still used within the company today.
The use of plastic for toy manufacture was not highly regarded by retailers and consumers of the time. Many of the Lego Group's shipments were returned, following poor sales; it was thought that plastic toys could never replace wooden ones.
By 1954, Christiansen's son, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, had become the junior managing director of the Lego Group. It was his conversation with an overseas buyer that struck the idea of a toy system. Godtfred saw the immense potential in Lego bricks to become a system for creative play, but the bricks still had some problems from a technical standpoint: their "locking" ability was limited, and they were not very versatile. It was not until 1958 that the modern-day brick design was developed, and it took another five years to find exactly the right material for it. The modern Lego brick was patented on January 28, 1958, and bricks from that year are still compatible with current bricks.

Westlife ;

Formation :

Prior to Westlife, Egan, Feehily and Filan along with fellow Sligonians Derrick Lacey, Graham Keighron and Michael "Miggles" Garrett, were part of a six-member pop vocal group called 'IOYOU' (sometimes IOU).The group was groomed and managed by choreographer Mary McDonagh along with two other informal managers and they released a single titled "Together Girl Forever". Louis Walsh, the manager of the 1990s boy band Boyzone, was contacted by Filan's mother and came to know about the band. However, IOYOU did not meet Simon Cowell's approval for a record deal with BMG, thus changes were needed. Two members of IOYOU were given the sack and auditions were held in Dublin where Byrne and McFadden were recruited. A third original member of IOYOU, Michael Garrett, was also dropped. The new group, formed on July 3, 1998, was re-named Westside but as the name was already taken by another band, it was changed to Westlife. Boyzone singer Ronan Keating was brought in to co-manage the band with Walsh. thank infomation from http://www.wikipedia.org/:
